Uniroyal Tyres – Rain Tyre Specialists for Safer Driving

Vujačić Company is the official importer and authorised distributor of Uniroyal tyres in Montenegro, offering a wide range of tyres for different vehicles, seasons and driving requirements.

Uniroyal is a well-established European tyre brand recognised for its expertise in wet-weather driving. With a long history of innovation and a strong focus on grip, water evacuation and aquaplaning resistance, Uniroyal has earned an international reputation as a specialist in rain tyres.

Belgian Heritage and a History of Rain Tyre Innovation

Uniroyal's story began in 1868 in Liège, Belgium, when Oscar Englebert established a business selling rubber products. Over time, the family enterprise developed into an important European tyre manufacturer, with technological innovation becoming a defining part of its identity.

A major milestone came in 1969 with the introduction of the Rallye 180, a pioneering tyre specifically developed for wet-weather driving. The umbrella soon became Uniroyal's distinctive symbol, representing the brand's commitment to safety and performance on wet roads.

In 1979, Uniroyal's European tyre operations became part of the Continental Group, gaining access to additional manufacturing expertise and technological development resources.

Shark Skin Technology – Inspired by Nature

One of Uniroyal's most distinctive innovations is Shark Skin Technology (SST), inspired by the microscopic structure of shark skin and the way water flows across its surface.

Specially designed tread grooves help water escape more efficiently from the contact area between the tyre and the road, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

Aquaplaning occurs when a layer of water causes a tyre to lose direct contact with the road surface, potentially reducing steering and braking control.

Used in selected Uniroyal tyres, this technology is particularly valuable during heavy rainfall, when efficient water evacuation is essential for maintaining stable and predictable vehicle behaviour.

Uniroyal Summer, Winter and All-Season Tyres

Although best known for its rain tyres, Uniroyal offers products developed for a wide range of weather conditions and driving requirements.

Uniroyal summer tyres, including the established RainSport and RainExpert families, focus on wet-road grip, aquaplaning resistance and dependable everyday driving performance.

Uniroyal winter tyres, such as the WinterExpert range, are developed for cold weather, with tread patterns and rubber compounds designed to provide traction and control on wet and snow-covered roads.

Uniroyal all-season tyres, from the AllSeasonExpert family, offer a practical alternative for drivers who prefer a single set of tyres throughout the year, provided their local climate and driving requirements are suitable.

The Uniroyal range also includes tyres for SUVs, 4x4 vehicles and light commercial vehicles.
