American Origins, European Driving Demands

General Tire has developed a distinctive identity around tyres designed to handle the varied challenges of everyday motoring and off-road exploration.

Its well-known slogan, "Anywhere Is Possible", reflects the brand's adventurous spirit and commitment to helping drivers explore new destinations.

Today, General Tire's European range is developed to meet the requirements of modern SUVs and 4x4 vehicles, with a focus on stability, traction, comfort and resistance to damage. Different tyre constructions and tread designs allow drivers to select products suited to their preferred terrain and driving habits.

General Grabber – From Motorways to Challenging Terrain

Grabber is General Tire's best-known family of tyres for SUVs, 4x4s and off-road vehicles. The range offers different solutions because tyres designed primarily for tarmac have different requirements from those intended for gravel, mud or rocky tracks.

Road and SUV tyres are designed for motorists who spend most of their time on paved roads and prioritise stability, comfort and dependable handling in wet and dry conditions.

All-Terrain (A/T) tyres provide a balance between on-road and off-road capability. Depending on the model, their construction and tread patterns make them suitable for tarmac, gravel tracks, forest roads and moderately demanding terrain.

Mud-Terrain (M/T) tyres feature more aggressive tread designs intended for demanding off-road conditions, including deep mud, loose surfaces and rocky trails. Their behaviour on paved roads may differ considerably from conventional road tyres.

The European Grabber range also includes tyres designed for all-season and winter driving, with specific characteristics and markings depending on the product.

Technology and Durability Beyond the Road

Off-road driving places particular demands on tyre construction, including resistance to damage and the ability to maintain traction on uneven or loose surfaces.

General Tire uses technologies such as DuraGen, TracGen and Comfort Balance to enhance durability, grip and driving comfort, depending on the tyre model.

The objective is to achieve an appropriate balance between the robustness required for challenging terrain and the predictable driving characteristics expected during everyday use.

General Tire – Suited to Montenegro's Diverse Roads

Montenegro offers a remarkable variety of driving environments, from urban roads and coastal highways to mountain passes, gravel tracks and challenging off-road routes.

General Tire is therefore an appealing option for SUV and 4x4 owners, outdoor enthusiasts, campers and drivers interested in recreational off-roading and overland travel.

Choosing the right tyre involves considering how frequently the vehicle is used on paved roads compared with off-road conditions. The most suitable tyre should match the vehicle's specifications, its intended use and the demands of the terrain.
